I am a filmmaker and journalist and have taught both at Northwestern and NYU for 10 plus years. My classes have served to help future journalists by teaching them the in's and outs of video story telling in a

My teaching methodology is hands on. I assign students stories and they use their new video skills to capture them. I teach treatment writing as well so they have a 'roadmap' to work with in a classroom setting .
