About Alya

Hi, I’m Alya, a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL), with a bachelor’s degree in Danish.

My goal is simple: to help you cross the river between where you are now and the life you want in Denmark—whether that means a new job, closer connections with colleagues, or feeling at home.

Language can be one of the biggest obstacles on that journey. Together, we’ll turn it into a tool that opens doors. Trusted by more than 100 professionals, I offer practical, personalised support with Danish for work, everyday life, and relocation.

Why Danish? My connection to the language began in childhood. My parents spoke Danish and ran a business in Denmark, so I grew up hearing the language and visiting the country regularly. Denmark has been part of my life ever since, and I’d love to help you make it part of yours.

About the class

Struggling with Danish verbs, pronunciation, or finding the right words in everyday situations? Worried you’re not ready for your exam—even though you’re taking a course or studying independently?

You’re not alone. I’ve helped 100+ students work through these same challenges, pass exams, and speak Danish with greater confidence.

Over the past five years, I’ve developed a practical, personalised approach that helps you understand the language and use it in real life. With clear explanations, focused practice, and support along the way, Danish can feel much more manageable than you think.

Paula

She really helped me improve not only my communication skills but also my confidence in speaking. Her support went far beyond language lessons; she gave me valuable advice on improving my CV, finding accommodation, and preparing for my relocation from London. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her!
