About Jessie
I’ve been a Software Engineer for 3 years now. I never went to college for computer science but rather, I found a job where I was taught the basics of HTML and CSS. From there, I attended a coding boot camp where I learned the basics of JavaScript and Python.
You can imagine how overwhelming and confusing this was for me as I had no prior coding experience, but I picked up some tricks that helped me make the transition that I’m sure I can pass along to you!
Since then, I’ve spent the past couple years working on my code, learning new tricks and becoming the coder I never thought I’d be. I’m excited to help you get there as well.

Depending on the language you would like to learn, I’ll walk you through the very basics of the language with visual aids and participation on your end. For the first 2 lessons we’ll solve a few beginner level problems together and increase the difficulty from there.
I encourage my students to stick with me for at least 3 lessons because by the third lesson we’ll start to discuss building your first application! I’ll walk you through every step and overall it will be the most fun you can have learning code!
