About Kit
Making sure that a student enjoys the process of learning an instrument is my number 1 priority. I am here to help you reach achievable goals as well as being challenged just enough in a productive and helpful way. With over 3 years experience in teaching jazz, classical, music theory and pop in both trumpet and piano, I am extremely versatile in what a student wants to achieve from lessons.
At the moment, I have just finished my studies in BMus Jazz Trumpet at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance where I obtained a 2:1. I was also awarded the Mick Collins Trumpet Prize in 2020. In this time, I have performed at many of London's iconic venues such as Ronnie Scotts with the Trinity Laban Jazz Orchestra.
As a professional musician, I have worked and recorded with musicians from multiple genres in both Europe and the UK. This includes recording Trumpet for Mika's single 'Sound of an Orchestra' as well as Alex Connor 'Deedee'. Currently, I have recorded an EP of my own compositions which I hope to be released in late 2022.

I believe that music lessons should be as enjoyable as anything else as well as being a place to develop a musical skill. I aim to help you enhance your musical knowledge in a fun and enjoyable way as well as be challenged in a productive way! Every student is different and so each lesson will be different!
Typical lesson times are 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 60 minutes.
Happy to teach all levels at any age. Jazz or Classical grades or just for a bit of fun! 1 to 1 lessons as well as small group lessons.
