I’m Shawna Penney, a passionate middle school English educator dedicated to helping students become confident communicators, thoughtful readers, and strong writers. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts from Elmhurst University and am completing my Master’s in Teaching Middle School English at National Louis University. With years of experience teaching, coaching, and mentoring adolescents, I understand how to balance high academic expectations with encouragement and support.
