About Leo
My name is Leo Muziva, and I’m currently a third-year Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems student at UCT. I have completed numerous coding and programming courses, which have given me strong practical skills and experience in IT and programming. Although I have no previous tutoring experience, I am very passionate about coding and eager to gain experience by helping students learn. I enjoy assisting with homework and projects, making sure students understand the concepts behind each task. My teaching style is very hands-on and practical, focusing on how to think when solving IT problems rather than just giving answers. I aim to make IT and coding enjoyable and understandable, even for students who find it challenging. I am comfortable teaching students of different learning levels, particularly high school IT learners, and I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s individual needs.

I take a very practical, hands-on approach to teaching IT and coding. I help students with homework and projects, making sure they not only complete tasks but also truly understand the underlying concepts. My focus is on teaching students how to think when tackling questions, so they can approach any IT problem confidently.
Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. We work on school assignments, coding exercises, projects, and exam preparation (IEB), ensuring students build both knowledge and problem-solving skills.
I teach in English and adapt explanations to be clear and easy to follow.
