About Chinmay
I have always liked teaching. In my opinion how a subject is taught to a person for the first time influences how that student feels about that subject. In my tenure as a teaching assistant at IIT Madras, I realised a lot times teachers skip the basic understanding of the subject because they are so well versed with it, it comes as a second nature to them. But for someone who’s learning it for the first time it creates confusion and a lack of basic understanding. I aim to bridge that gap and teach what coding and data science essentially is and train student well enough that he or she can be confident enough to learn advanced topics like computer vision and NLP.

I believe coding can be learnt only by coding. I have designed complete roadmap to teach coding and data science to someone who has never coded before. The classes will contain theory part followed by practical implementation that would explain everything about the code. I have experience as a teaching assistant for data science and introduction to programming course in IIT Madras, which has helped me understand what works when it comes to teaching how to code and think critically when approaching the problem.
