About Lara
I am a recent high school graduate (98 ATAR and college DUX), with 2 years expertise in teaching mathematics to high school students. Tutoring has become a passion of mine, taking it up as a part-time job during my final years of high school. Throughout this time I discovered the reward of seeing my students gain confidence in their own abilities and improvement in their work. With this, I want to inspire many young students to develop a strong work ethic and passion for their studies, to equip them with the tools for success. Being a recent HSC graduate means that I have first-hand experience of the course, different learning styles and understanding of the obstacles that occur, and can assert empowerment through this.

I placed 5th in NSW with a score of 99 by following the same study methods that I guide my students with. I use a comprehensive learning approach that puts emphasis on exam-style questions to ensure my students are equipped and ready to tackle exams. I offer flexible lesson times (1-2 hours) as well as 24/7 contact to help students with homework or obstacles. I offer services to all year 7-10 students, and Mathematics Standard 1 and 2 to year 11-12 students - following the new NSW math curriculum.
