About Lynsey
Hi there!
I'm Lynsey, a recent BA (Hons) Creative Writing graduate, specialising in fiction and script, with additional knowledge of poetry and creative non-fiction. I obtained a First Class Honours from the Arts University Bournemouth.
I have experience working with both primary and secondary school children, running educational creative writing workshops in the local area, and helping students to hone their craft and find their voice.
Most recently, I designed and ran a series of writing for well-being workshops for key workers in the local community.

My methodology is student-centred and always tailored to suit your needs. I completely understand how stressful revision can be, so I want to ensure our study sessions work for you and give you the confidence you need to ace your exam or coursework!
- I can guide you through a writing exercise or workshop and provide feedback on your craft
- We can study other authors and dissect their works
- I can arrange informational guides on topics and techniques
- We can look at ways to hone your essay writing skills
... all of it, or anything in between!
Whether you've already been set a project to work towards, are studying for an exam, or are just after some general tutorial sessions, I can help.

As an English teacher, I recently invited Lynsey to my school to run some creative writing workshops with children in Years 5 and 7. It was an extremely positive experience for the pupils who benefitted greatly from Lynsey's professional teaching delivery and inspiring ideas. I will not hesitate to organise a repeat visit once Covid 19 restrictions have been lifted. Lynda (Dorset)
