Hi! My name is Zuri, and I am an incoming senior with a passion for helping students learn and grow. I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students with a strong understanding that every learner is different. About the class

My goal as a tutor is to help students build confidence and study habits while still developing a strong understanding of the material. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each student's needs and learning pace. A typical lesson of mine begins by reviewing any questions or concepts the student is struggling with. Then, I explain new material using clear, step-by-step examples, followed by guided practice and independent work to make sure the student truly understands the topic. I also share study strategies and tips that students can use on their own outside of our sessions.

What sets me apart is my patience, strong communication skills, and passion for helping others succeed. I have experience tutoring elementary and middle school students and enjoy finding different ways to explain concepts until they make sense. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students become more confident and independent learners.
