I bring both strong academic training and real classroom experience to my tutoring. I hold a Master’s degree in Microbiology–Immunology from Colorado State University, and I currently work as an Instructional Specialist (staff tutor) and Microbiologist. In this role, I support instruction in multiple college-level biology and chemistry courses, including General Biology, Microbiology, and the General Chemistry series. This means I regularly work directly with the same material students encounter in their classes.
Over the past several years, I have helped many students strengthen their understanding of challenging science topics through both individual and group tutoring. My approach as a tutor focuses on building strong conceptual understanding while helping students develop the problem-solving skills needed to succeed in science courses.
