Lessons with me are both fun and rigorous. I believe the best way to understand history is to find and and create stories, putting yourself in the position of the people who experienced events as they happened. To do that, we have to build a context that includes culture, politics, economics, religion, geography and more. It all fits together! Lessons are based on sources, whether primary documents, texts or even fiction, which we then fit into the big picture. Then we can build coherent, insightful responses to e.g. test prompts.
