Kia ora! My name is Trisha, and I am a high school student. I'm here to prepare you for your journey toward gaining your academic qualifications, whether it be for NCEA or the new curriculum framework. I have experience tutoring students in years 9–10 as they adapt to the new expectations they face in high school. I aim to make this transition in academic rigor much more seamless, ensuring that students achieve their goals. I am friendly, adaptable, and have a flexible schedule. I also provide plenty of take-home resources for you to deepen your understanding, and I constantly make sure that parents and caregivers are updated on their child's progress. I have 1 year of tutoring experience, working with a range of students, primarily those who are preparing for their Year 10 NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Qualifications. Lesson times are 1 hour, but are flexible.
I ensure my tutees know proper writing structure through repeated tasks, alongside personalised feedback to directly target areas of strength and improvement.
