About Anthony
I'm a highly skilled maths tutor with years of experience. Although I've taught from age 10 upwards, I specialize in GCSE, A level and undergraduate level.
In the A level track I have recently taught Edexel and AQA core maths (C1 to C4), mechanics, statistics, and even the "dreaded" decision maths.
For undergraduates I have taught students at the Bournemouth University quantitative techniques and basic statistics. Quantitative techniques includes things such as fundamental algebra (quadratic equations etc), histograms, ogives, standard deviation, five point summary and probability.
Basic Statistics includes hypothesis testing, time series, chi-square and uniform distributions.
I specialize in first trying to understand the background of the student. This helps me understand how they think so I can tailor the subject to suit their needs.
I also have many years of IT and particularly computer programming experience. I currently teach MS Office products such as Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, Visio, Project, SQL Server, VBA, VB.Net.
Regarding other languages such as C, C++, Python, etc I do a tailor made course to suit the needs of the client.
