About Daniel
Hello! My name is Daniel and I'm a young, passionate and motivating tutor across a range of subjects, including Geography, History, Politics, Sociology, and English. I can also support with university applications and Oxbridge admissions.
I have a Bachelors degree in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge and a Masters degree in Environment, Politics and Development from SOAS. I have worked as a SEND specialist teaching assistant for two years, and I am currently training to become a secondary Geography teacher. I am also a researcher and educator in networks for environmental and social justice.
I believe that learning can and should be enjoyable, collaborative and challenging. I believe that there are many ways to learn and in tailoring my teaching style to the strengths of my students. As much as I love teaching young people, I also genuinely appreciate how much I learn from my students' unique perspectives and understanding of the world.
I also love languages (I speak German, some French, and I am learning Swahili and Hebrew), books, music, plants and poetry!
