Alkisti is a great tutor. Specifically she was able to find a way to engage me in the subject in a way others haven't. She is very knowledgeable and as is therefore able to provide expansion on background if I wanted it (rather than you don't need to know that yet), and amazing at providing growth through feedback (e.g. what you've done makes sense but a native might also say this) and has loads of great ways to help familiarise yourself with vocab and grammar (like thinking of common stems). She is great at pushing me to improve where required but not leaving me to struggle. Can't recommend enough.

I have been learning Greek with Alkisti from scratch for a couple of years. Without her I am not sure I would have managed to keep going as despite speaking and/or understanding a few other European languages, I have found Greek really quite hard to get my head around! Perfect! As a non-Greek speaker engaged to a Cypriot, I can appreciate that Greek can be a difficult language to learn. However, I’ve always been impressed with how accessible Alkisti has made my lessons, as well as her professionalism and enthusiasm for the subject.
