About Rebecca
I am an experienced freelance violist and violinist. I received a Bachelor's degree from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and I am currently completing a Master's in Music at the Royal Northern College of Music.
I have been a private instrumental teacher for several years, teaching both the violin and viola to students of all ages and abilities. I have worked with a number of schools and music services, teaching one-to-one lessons, coaching young string ensembles and conducting youth orchestras. I have also enjoyed leading interactive musical workshops in nurseries, SEN schools and care homes.
In addition to my teaching work, I have trained and performed as a freelancer with several professional orchestras, including the CBSO, Manchester Camerata, the Hallé, BBC Philharmonic, London Philharmonic and the London Musical Theatre Orchestra.
