About Ben

Hi, my name is Ben and I have been giving grinds in Higher Level Maths and Applied Maths to both JC and LC students for the past 5 years, and am very familiar with all of the LC course content. My grinds are highly exam paper focused.

I'm a Masters Student studying Engineering in Trinity, and have completed 5 Maths modules with a 1st Class Honours in each module over my time there. I got a score of 601 points in the Leaving Cert and got a H1 in Maths, Irish, German and Applied Maths.

Testimonials:

"Ben's been great to work with for me , having missed lots of school in fifth year through covid I found myself falling behind in maths , he worked with me at my own pace and really simplified every part of maths and has increased my grades significantly. Couldn’t recommend Ben enough as he’s a really nice guy who’s really passionate and enthusiastic about what he does." Lochlan, 6th Year Higher Maths

"Thank you Ben for your patience with me. Your explanations are very clear, in simple terms and very easy to follow. I especially like your use of colours when explaining during the grinds. Thank you so much, I highly recommend you to anyone." Debra, Physics 1st Year College.

"I have found Applied Maths with Ben to be very helpful. He makes complicated things seem clearer and after he has said it, you ask yourself how you didn’t think of it yourself." Euan, Applied Maths Leaving Cert.

"Ben has been giving me grinds for the junior certificate for a few months now. He is an excellent teacher. I’m feeling much more prepared for my junior certificate. I highly recommend him for grinds." Matthew, Maths Junior Cert.

My grinds operate over Zoom with a shared interactive whiteboard. I have a great deal of experience giving grinds online and love helping people get a better grasp at their studies. My rate is €50 for the hour.
