For the majority of my lessons, firstly, I would begin by ensuring the student has a clear knowledge of the core principles of the topic, which they would like help with. While incorporating active recall techniques, in order to develop a fluent understanding of a topic, I would then build on the student's knowledge and link in greater detail. Moreover, very crucially, I would guide students through past paper questions, in order to cement their understanding and solidify their confidence for the real exam. I would be able to aid high-achieving students at honing their techniques, in order to achieve the very top grades, and also help those struggling to boost their confidence in their learning, and make attaining higher grades more accessible. Having recently achieved 10 grade 9s in the 2024 GCSE exam series, I believe I have a strong comprehension of what is required to attain very highly at GCSE. I would be able to confidently tutor students at all abilities, to lead them in the right direction to achieving their dream grades.
