Hey! I am a young, friendly individual with a keen interest in Education and discretionary skills to disseminate my knowledge through tutoring and mentoring. I am highly approachable, patient, engaging and a driven person, who strives hard to achieve my goals while being considerate to the needs and expectations of others involved / around myself. I have spent a number of years tutoring informally to friends and family in India and have always been proud of their achievements. Formally, I have engaged in tutting and mentoring underprivileged children of elementary school in India in subjects such as maths and English. I also take pride in establishing a remedial school for these children in my neighbourhood where I provided the first set of classes. Furthermore, I also volunteered for two years at an Orphanage, St. Catherine's Home in Mumbai, India, to tutor girls in A-Level Maths, Economics and English.
My qualifications include a recent postgraduate degree (MSc.) in Psychology of Mental Health from the University of Edinburgh. I have previously completed my undergraduate degree with majors in Economics and Sociology and additional subjects of Mathematics, English, Hindi, and Environmental Studies with a GPA of 3. 47 / 4. Furthermore, I have also studied an year abroad in Madrid, Spain at the Universidad Pontifical Comillas (ICADE) and achieved a successful qualification University level qualification in International Business ( 9/10) ,Marketing (9.40/10) , Corporate Finance (7.67/10) , Operations Management (8.70/10), Spanish - A1 (8.30) and Leadership (7.60). Lastly, I have completed my A-Level equivalent in India with subjects of Mathematics ( 99 %) , Economics (95%), Accountancy (95%), Business Studies (88%) and English (83%). I also have qualified in college admission tests namely TOEFL (112/120) and GRE (312/340).
I am passionate about acquiring knowledge and developing skills that mutually benefit myself and the society at large. I am certain about my abilities to develop trust in my students and to ensure their success. I do value time and precision, which ensure achieving remarkable goals in the limited time available to students. However, I do maintain a balance where students are not burdened with studies but engage in the process to acquire education and skills that will benefit them in the long run. I am highly approachable, compassionate and sympathetic. Most importantly, I am passionate about teaching and my students' personal gains and success is of critical importance to me!
