In writing, I help children develop fine motor skills and proper letter formation through enjoyable, hands-on activities. I support them as they progress from mark-making to forming letters, words, and simple sentences, fostering creativity and communication. For maths, I emphasise practical, play-based activities that develop number sense, counting, shape recognition, and basic problem-solving. My goal is to build children’s confidence and curiosity in maths, making it accessible and relevant to their everyday experiences. With experience supporting children with additional needs, I adapt my teaching methods to ensure every child thrives. My sessions combine structure with flexibility, helping young learners build solid foundations in reading, writing, and maths that will support their future success.
