Hello!

I'm Louise Howland, a 23 year old English teacher who works in a private language academy in China. I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2017 with a BA in English Language and Literature. My students are between the ages of 6-17 years old and I teach English as a foreign language. This covers topics like vocabulary, grammar, Literature and culture. I am also a keen writer - journalism, novels and poetry.

I have a passion for education and would love to help students in the UK achieve their targets in English and/or History. I have years of experience in tutoring both online and in person. I am friendly and approachable and believe building confidence is a fundamental quality of an effective teacher. The learning experience should be as productive as it is fun and engaging.

My sessions will be tailored to your subject, exam board, problem areas and style of learning. I am available in the afternoons and early evenings.
