About Amrita

As long as I was an employee of St. Joseph College I did not teach privately for remuneration as it was unethical but I did teach students from other colleges for free. Now that I have retired I would wish to teach privately. My students are the best judge of my teaching skills and I have never disappointed them

About the class

I have been a lecturer of English literature and language for 11th and 12th graders for 39 years at St Joseph’s College Allahabad. I have retired last year and wish to continue contributing to the teaching of English in a meaningful and productive way.
My method is flexible and I can adapt to the need of the student.
Interactive teaching is (concealed information) a premium and students must be willing to take frequent assessments. Plenty of grammar work sheets and comprehension exercises.
Literature is taught with attention to summary textual analysis critical appreciation and thematic application.
