About Tyler
Music theory and tone production are the cornerstones of my teaching practice. Tuning by ear during a quiet morning session creates a perfect environment for focusing on posture and hold.
I hold a Master of Music in Guitar Performance from Eastman School of Music which informs my broader pedagogical approach. I also teach sight reading and shifting positions to help you master the fingerboard. Double stops and scales and arpeggios remain vital for your left hand agility.
