I have recently graduated from Exeter University with a first class degree in Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies. I am very enthusiastic about Arabic language and culture, knowledgeable of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) as well as both the Egyptian and Levantine dialects. Having learned Arabic from beginner level as a non-native speaker I am aware of effective learning methods, and have an engaging and accessible approach to teaching.
I have experience of teaching Arabic at varying levels (from beginner to GCSE level) and to a wide range of ages (7-18 years old).
Besides tutoring, I also work part-time at an NGO called Caabu which works to improve understanding between the Arab world and the UK, as well as at Amnesty International where I use Arabic to monitor human rights development in the region.
