About Rheny
I have a degree in Music Pedagogy, and also in Classical Guitar. For ten years I have been working as a teacher of music, theory, harmony, classical and even modern guitar. I have experience in teaching children, teens and adults. My musical specialization comes from the classical repertoire of the guitar, and also from Latin American, popular and contemporary. I like to make specific teaching programs for each person, so that he can exploit all the motivational resources of the student and thus obtain a better learning and appreciation of the art in all its facets, from the different possibilities that the guitar offers. I believe that learning music through the guitar must be an engaging, motivational, exploratory and above all artistic process. In this sense, I like to use the students' experiences (also in other aspects such as sports, spirituality, cooking, etc.), to develop a personal path that leads to the greatest goal, learning music through the guitar, but without technical frustrations, and yes, with own resources, adapted to the conditions of each person, and through the systematization of the difficulty levels in terms of repertoire that you really want to learn. Not wasting time for me also means not losing patience, love for art, enthusiasm for new things and the desire to improve. I focus my efforts as a teacher on these qualities. I work with different teaching methods, mainly Suzuki, Dalcroze and Kodaly. The most important thing is that my students are able to hear the music as a native speaker, which will then be transmitted to the instrument in the most natural way possible, in order to obtain a high quality interpretation that respects the artistic interests of each person.
