About Enrico

I graduated in 2021 in modern guitar at the Lizard in Turin, I have been studying guitar and music for years, I have live experience with various local bands and I have had numerous collaborations.
My passion beyond music is teaching and I am now looking for students to help them achieve their goal with the instrument, whatever it is.

About the class

My name is Enrico Magno, I am 24 years old, and my guitar course is oriented towards this goal!
The lessons are aimed at anyone who wants to start playing from scratch (of any age), and to those who would like to improve their skills with the instrument by slowly managing to achieve the goals set together.

They are addressed both to those who simply want to learn to accompany themselves with the instrument while singing or those who want to have fun with it, and to those who aspire to a higher guitar level, possibly also in view of Lizard or RSL academic exams.

The educational program is agreed on the basis of the student's objectives and his favorite musical genres, orienting the studies in that direction in order to make the path as stimulating and fun as possible. Each lesson will be a moment of creativity and discussion on the topics covered together and a moment of verification of the work done at home, followed by the continuation of the agreed program.
In addition, to help you improve in the songs that we will perform, I will accompany you with the electronic drums present in my studio, also getting you used to playing with other people in case you want to do it one day, recording your performances to be able to listen to them and analyze them together!

The lessons can also be accompanied by a theoretical part (if the student is interested in it) to better understand the instrument and possibly have fun in the composition of one's own pieces.
The path will then be implemented with the study of pieces of increasing difficulty in order to have an optimal technical preparation to be able to face even concert situations.

Non sapevo suonare per nulla la chitarra, ma Enrico mi ha insegnato dalle basi rispettando i miei tempi. Attento e disponibile con gli allievi anche fuori orario! Quando hai cominciato ad appassionarti alla musica e quando hai iniziato a suonare il tuo strumento preferito?
Ho sempre dimostrato fin da piccolo una propensione all'ascolto musicale di ogni genere, avendo spesso interesse nell'imitare i miei artisti preferiti. All'età di 12 anni i miei genitori decisero poi di comprarmi una chitarra elettrica! Fu amore a prima vista!
Quale musica potresti ascoltare in loop senza stancarti mai?
Tutto ciò che contiene un bel sound di chitarra!
Qual è la lezione più difficile o più sorprendente che ti ricordi?
Le difficoltà maggiori le ho trovate cercando di insegnare le prime canzoncine a bimbi molto piccoli (6 o 7 anni), è una vera sfida all'inizio!
Qual è, secondo te, lo strumento più complicato da suonare e perché?
Secondo me non si può definire il più difficile tra gli strumenti! Appena cominciamo ad avvicinarci nello studio sembrano tutti estremamente complicati! Ma con la costanza e la determinazione tutto si semplifica!

Durante le lezioni mi avvalgo dell'aiuto di numerosi strumenti digitali (PC, pedaliere, batteria elettronica), è stato divertente durante una lezione riuscire a fare tutto completamente al buio a causa di un enorme black out in tutta la zona!
Cosa ti rende un vero Superprof adorato da tutti gli allievi?
La mia semplicità e disponibilità anche fuori dall'ambiente di lezione, sono sempre reperibile al telefono per eventuali dubbi o chiarimenti nei confronti degli allievi, che diventano dopo poco tempo dei veri e propri amici con cui lavorare nel modo più rilassato possibile!
