About Georgie

Hello! I am Georgie and I am a professional singer, musical theatre performer and actress.

I graduated from the Guildford School of Acting with a First Class BA Hons degree in Musical Theatre and I recently performed in The Jonathan Larson Project at The Southwark Playhouse in London.

While I was at GSA I taught full-time at the GSA Saturday School as a resident teacher and I taught 1 to 1 tutorials as well. I have taught all age groups and abilities from ages 4 to 18 across many different styles.

I am highly skilled at many different styles of singing and would love to teach as many styles as you would like. The styles I cover are classical, musical theatre contemporary and legit, pop, rock, belt and mix belt, jazz, yodelling, ensemble and group singing, top soprano.

I am incredibly passionate about musical theatre, singing and teaching and love to see my students grow in confidence and ability and of course find their love and passion!

I also have an up to date enhanced DBS.

About the class

I have been taught by some of the finest opera singers and professors and musical theatre tutors and I like to tailor my lessons to the individual student using a variety of different techniques and methods depending on the student's needs and goals.

We will start with an initial free consultation. This is a great chance for us to meet and discuss your goals. We usually go through a couple of exercises and I possibly hear you sing a short section of something of your choice.

Once we've done this, we come up with a plan together. I will identify any areas for improvement and we can work on exercises to help these develop. We'll use repertoire to help aid development, working one song at a time, to help you put this technique into practice. I am happy to suggest repertoire, but I'm also happy to be led by the student. I encourage my students to practise in-between our sessions to solidify the work we've done.

I'm a friendly, motivating and organised teacher. I've had great results with past students and have successfully prepared singing students for drama school auditions.

Many different styles available: classical, musical theatre contemporary and legit, pop, rock, belt and mix belt, jazz, yodelling, ensemble and group singing, top soprano.
Happy to teach any lesson length, please enquire.

I have an enhanced DBS and my lessons are available to children and adults of all ages. I taught full-time at the GSA Saturday School as the resident Introduction to Musical Theatre (4 to 8 years) teacher and I taught 1 to 1 tutorials as well. I have also worked at the Saturday School teaching different age groups and abilities from ages 4 to 18. I have also worked as dance captain and vocal captain in musicals.

I am incredibly passionate about musical theatre and singing and can't wait to help you grow in confidence and ability!

I’ve known and worked alongside Georgie for almost 5 years, and I am continuously impressed by her warmth as a person and her knowledge of her craft as an actress.
Not only is she a wonderful teacher but also a super talented human. She is an inspiring example for students to look up to. I could not recommend Georgie more!

Georgie is a good friend of mine. She is amazingly talented, with her performance in the Jonathon Larson project being one of the best vocal performances I’ve seen on the west end this past year. I would highly recommend anybody who is looking for lessons to be taught by her. You won’t be dissapointed!
