About Wendy
Hiya! My name is Wendy from Qingdao, China. I am an undergraduate student in the UK, studying maths and econ. I am a huge fan of chess, snowboarding and hiking ;)
Grown up in China then going to the UK makes me understand both eastern and western culture - that is what makes me who I am. I have many friends from all over the world who got impressed by Chinese culture because of my introduction. So I find it amazing to teach Mandarin and share the culture to more people!
I am really easy to get along with and I love teaching and meeting new people - like you! I have taught Mandarin before and I can easily help you make progress in an interesting way. Hope to see you on my lesson!

Each of my Mandarin lesson will focus on a specific topic, eg. family member, holiday... We will get immersed into Mandarin by watching fun videos, learning vocabulary and practicing small talks.
Based on your preference, we will put an emphasis on listening/speaking, reading/writing, grammar, or anything related.
I will share some Chinese traditions and funny stories to make the lesson more interesting and help you learn.
The lesson is for everyone no matter what level you currently are - as long as you have an interest in knowing some Mandarin or learning Chinese culture.
