About the class

As a math and econ major at Grinnell College, I have developed a tutoring approach that emphasizes problem-solving and critical thinking. I like to encourage my students to engage with the material through interactive discussions, real-world examples, and hands-on activities. My goal is to help them not only understand the concepts but also see the relevance of math in their daily lives.

A typical lesson plan starts with a brief review of the previous session's material before diving into new topics. I like to use a variety of resources, such as textbooks, online tools, and videos, to keep the lessons engaging and informative. I also provide regular practice exercises and assessments to help students measure their progress.
