About Gabriel

I studied Graphic Design at Leeds Beckett, and my portfolio from there earned me a place at the Royal College of Art after a portfolio review and interview. I know how much pressure coursework and applications can put on you, and how much easier it gets when someone helps you see what’s already good in your work.

About the class

A lot of marks in Art & Design come from showing your thinking, not just your finished pieces. I’ll help you develop ideas through research and experiments, annotate in a way examiners can follow, and pull everything together into a portfolio that tells a story.

If you’re applying to a foundation course or an art and design degree, we’ll also practise the interview: talking through your portfolio, explaining why you made the choices you did, and answering the questions tutors usually ask. It’s much less scary once you’ve said it out loud a few times.
