About Kayla
I am currently a graduate student who is in the process of graduating with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have previously graduated with a Creative Writing Bachelor's degree. With my experience in writing, I have provided virtual tutoring services for many families since 2020. I have mainly tutored children and teenagers for reading and writing, while also provided editing/ proofreading services for all ages. There will first be a consultation on what service you will be requesting (i.e. tutoring or proofreading/ editing). During this time, we will spend time discussing your needs and what you want to gain from my services. Based on the consultation, if we go the route of tutoring, I will create custom lesson plans based on your skill level and review the assignments with you in detail. These lesson plans can also include school assignments. The way I tutor is more focused on teaching and learning from mistakes. I am patient and will make sure you understand a concept before we move forward. If you are requesting proofreading/ editing services, we will still have a consultation on the subject of the paper and what changes you would like to see occur. I will then make the adjustments and have a follow up session with you on the changes I have made and we will discuss whether you will still need additional changes.
