A graduate of the University of Michigan and Carnegie Mellon University, Annalese offers in person flute lessons to all levels in Denver, or online lessons through Zoom.

I was lucky enough to spend the last two years as Annalese's colleague in the graduate flute studio of Carnegie Mellon University. Annalese is an undoubtedly an exceptional flutist and is sincerely dedicated to her craft. She would show up to every performance seminar, masterclass, concert, and recital having gone above and beyond in preparation, never once making excuses for any of her responsibilities.

Having audited some of her lessons, I personally love how she stays committed to her lesson plan but still meets students where they are - there is clear structure in her teaching, but she finds the right approach for each student as a result of careful and continued attention. As a flute teacher myself, I greatly respect the learning experience she provides by utilizing every possible solution in her toolkit.

Annalese is not only an inspiring musician but a kind and humorous human being - I guarantee she will make the most out of every minute of your lesson and leave you excited to make music!
