About Caleb
My name is Caleb Cameron, and I am a master's student at Boston University! I am from Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Media Studies. I have been doing political media research for close to 5 years now and have taken classes on every statistical research method that you can imagine. I understand that stats is not for everyone, and to most it can seem incredibly daunting and difficult to grasp. That is why I enjoy helping others learn things because there was a time when I also did not know how to even begin to code my own machine learning model, but thanks to some incredible professors, that's the easiest part about grad school right now.
There was a time when I struggled with school too, and to be honest, I know how it feels to be hopeless in a course. It's a terrible feeling, and having someone to be a guiding hand through it can feel liberating and even propel you to be successful in other steps in your life. I've had to ask for help before, and there’s nothing I love doing more than helping others who need it, just like I did. I hope I can make some college/high school course experiences a little less sucky!

I do everything I can to personalize my teaching to every student. I am currently a TA in an introductory college course, and I still take every student's experience into account so that no one feels left behind.
At the end of the day, we are all human, and we all make mistakes! There is no path to success that does not run through failure (trust me, I know.) I will never expect perfection from you because I know that's not how learning works. I will also still push my students to learn from their mistakes to be better than they were the day before.
I can teach statistics and research methods for college-level students (including Python, SPSS, and R) as well as intro-level stats. I can also teach high school-level algebra and research writing.
