About Udayan
Hi, I'm Udayan! I'm a university graduate with a strong STEM background, and I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students find clarity in subjects that often feel daunting.
Throughout my own education, I realised that struggling with maths or science usually comes down to how a topic is explained rather than a student's ability. Because of that, my tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and centred on meeting students where they are.
I take the time to understand each student’s unique learning style, break down tricky problem solving steps without pressure, and build their self-belief so they can work independently. Outside of academics, I aim to be a supportive mentor who makes learning engaging, low-stress, and rewarding.

I genuinely love helping students build confidence in subjects that often feel overwhelming or frustrating. Rather than just making students memorise formulae or repeat textbook drills, I focus on breaking concepts down into simple, intuitive steps so the underlying logic finally clicks.
My sessions are 1-to-1 and held online using interactive digital whiteboards, so we work through problems together on screen in real time. We spend plenty of time tackling actual exam board questions (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) so students know exactly what examiners look for and feel relaxed walking into tests.
Lessons are 60 minutes long and tailored to KS3 and GCSE students, whether someone is feeling stuck and trying to secure a solid pass, or aiming to push from a 7 up to a 9.
