About Eniola

Hello! My name is Dr. Eniola Kazeem, and I am a dedicated mathematics educator with a Ph.D. in Mathematics and over twelve years of experience teaching and mentoring students at both high school and university levels. I have taught a wide range of topics—from algebra and calculus to abstract algebra and real analysis—helping students not only pass their exams but truly understand and appreciate the subject. My teaching philosophy is built on clarity, patience, and encouragement. I know that mathematics can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with the right guidance and support, every student can succeed. I take pride in creating a learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow in confidence. With a strong academic background, professional integrity, and a passion for helping learners achieve their goals, I am committed to providing high-quality, personalized, and engaging online math lessons that make a real difference. Let’s make mathematics your strength!

My approach is learner-centered and concept-driven. I begin by diagnosing the learner’s current understanding and misconceptions using questions or assigning tasks. Once I understand where a student is, I design lessons that:

Break complex ideas into digestible steps

Use real-life analogies, especially for abstract topics like limits, group theory, or integration

Integrate visuals and graphs (especially in calculus and functions)

Employ active recall and spaced repetition for key formulas and theorems

I make extensive use of:
Problem-solving challenges to promote critical thinking

“Think aloud” strategies to model how a mathematician approaches unfamiliar problems

A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson (usually 60–90 minutes) follows this structure:

Warm-Up (5 mins)

Brief review or ask a question to check prior knowledge.

Concept Focus (15–20 mins)

Explain a new concept using a simple example and/or visual/graphical tools.

Guided Practice (20–30 mins)

Work through progressively challenging problems together.

Independent Practice (15 mins)

Learner attempts new questions with scaffolding as needed.

Review and Wrap-Up (10 mins)

Recap key takeaways, clarify doubts, and provide homework/revision tips.

Optional: If preparing for a test or exam, I’ll include past paper walkthroughs and timed problem-solving drills.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor
I hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics and have over five years of experience teaching students at university level, as well as tutoring high school learners.

I specialize in making abstract concepts visual and relatable, especially in courses like Real Analysis, Abstract Algebra, and Calculus.

My experience with students across different curriculums helps me adapt to diverse learning goals.

I create a safe space for making mistakes and asking questions—mathematics is learned through exploration, not memorization.

My lessons are tailored for university undergraduates taking courses such as:

Linear Algebra, Calculus I–III, Abstract Algebra, Real Analysis and Topology.
