About Marina
My name is Marina, and I hold a Master's of Research degree in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. My passion lies in helping students understand the natural world and the complex interactions between people and their environment. Throughout my studies, I've developed a strong interest in conservation ecology, particularly Antarctic vegetation. This focus has allowed me to conduct fieldwork in Antarctica and I'm currently applying for PhD positions to continue my research in polar ecosystems. I offer tutoring across ecology, geography, and environmental science. This includes topics such as ecosystem management, biodiversity, conservation, population dynamics, physical and human geography, environmental systems, climate change, sustainability, and natural resource management. I primarily work with students from primary school age to GCSEs, and A-Levels.
