About Thamasha Thathsarani
My passion for teaching started long before I ever thought of it as a career. When I was at school, I used to come home and teach what I had learned to the plants in my home garden! I would explain lessons out loud as if I had a classroom of my own. Looking back, I think that was my first little sign that I genuinely enjoyed teaching and explaining things to others.

I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace, strengths and areas for improvement. Lessons are typically 60 minutes, with the option to extend to 90 minutes for more advanced topics, practical programming exercises or assessment preparation. I hold a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Software Development, from Southern Cross University. My academic background includes programming, software engineering, web development, object-oriented programming and software project development.
I am also preparing to undertake further study in secondary teaching, with a focus on developing my skills in education and classroom practice. My approach combines my technical IT knowledge with a strong interest in helping students.
