About Scott
I am a graduate with a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics with experience tutoring students while I was enrolled at Texas Christian University. Most of my students have taken AP Calc, but many were also in precalculus, algebra I and II, and even geometry. I also have experience tutoring other college students through their math classes, so I know how stressful those classes can be. This variety has made me adaptable to instruct on a wide variety of math topics and meet different learning needs of students.

Do you need help on homework, preparing for a test, or need some help reviewing a tough subject? As your tutor, we will solve problems together as you build up confidence in your mathematics skills. As new techniques pop up, we'll discuss the logic behind them instead of just memorizing formulas.
I have experience tutoring calculus I and II, other lower-level college math classes, as well as all four years of high school math. If you are concerned about your AP Calc test, I've taken the AP Calc BC test and got a 5. Let me help you get the score you want too!

Scott is an amazing tutor! He has helped me really understand how concepts in math actually work rather than just knowing what steps and processes to follow. The way he explains concepts actually makes sense and you can tell that he is genuinely passionate about his work and wants to see his students improve and learn. He not only wants you to succeed in school but he cares and wants to make sure we are successful in other aspects too. Scott is such a smart person I am sometimes genuinely in awe in how he just knows so much about math and all other subjects. Overall I think Scott is a great tutor for extremely complex and difficult classes as well as helping student struggling in more basic and simple classes and I would not want anyone else as a tutor.
