A warm but firm approach has served me well throughout my career. It is not my job to answer questions, it is my job to ask them. And I ask the right ones.
I am not a prescriptivist by any means, but luckily I have the skills necessary to teach someone to be one when they need to.
Lesson introduction will always be 30 minutes, I am then able to discuss the time I/we think is needed post introduction. I am able to support KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-Level, Undergraduate learning.
My blend of experience as both a classroom teacher, lecturer and tutor equips me well to use my knowledge to teach a range of subjects if required. Key skills lessons can also be provided. I have experience teaching Language, Literature, History, Drama, Music, R.E. I also teach Literature and Philosophy A-Level.
