About Maria
My name is Maria, I am Spanish and I lived (worked and studied) in Scotland for 5 years, and I have recently moved to Tartu (Estonia). Winters look so magical and snowy here. I also miss Spain and its culture (food and weather especially!). I love having friendly conversations, theatre, long walks, the sea, explore new places and try new things. And of course, teaching and encourage people to reach their goals.

My students are free to choose what they would like to learn and which activities work best for them. I teach languages (Spanish and English) in a meaningful way and I always adapt my lessons to their learning rhythms. I usually start my lessons with a short introduction and a summary from our last session and I ask what the student would like to do. If they don’t have any ideas, I share some. I am also happy to send homework if they feel they need extra support and I organise games and dynamic activities in my lessons.
