About Makeba
To my fellow voice majors, aspiring singers and professional singers, I believe theres a melody inside of everyone that has the potential to move hearts around the world. I have been apart of that process many different times with voice students of all ages, races and music genres. Working with me will not only allow you to learn the technical side of performing but I will also teach you how to be vulnerable in your craft. Teaching someone how to translate the emotions that they are feeling in their own heart and share that with a whole world of listeners through performing a song is not any easy task but I'm up for the job. I enjoy seeing a vocalist find their inner voice and find the confidence to boldly sing and share that on stage.

I am a vocalist and songwriter/producer who has worked with many singers and music students around the world since finishing Berklee College of Music. My goal is to help singers perform and or record stellar vocal performances on every stage at every stage of their musical journey. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I have experience in various genres of music. I got my start as a singer performing in church, I then studied and excelled as a classical voice major at my highschool for performing Arts in MD and culminated my music studies with a degree in Music Business as a voice major in contemporary music. I afford all of my students the experience of learning the techniques that will allow them to perform in any musical genre. My voice lessons have helped students of all ages excel in their craft and develop the skills to have lasting singing careers.
