About Millie
I am currently a student who has just finished her GCSE’s. I have a passion for literature and writing which i will be carrying on at A-Level. I feel i have learnt many valuable tricks and skills that motivated me to improve in English. In my year 10 mocks i achieved a 6 and by my year 11 mocks i was achieving straight 9’s! I want to show people how important hard work is, but also how vital sharing resources and having discussions is to achieving high marks in GCSE’s.

I find it very important to teach a student to be open minded when approaching GCSE texts. It is important that they are able to appreciate the piece at some level in order to make sophisticated points about it. Although many find it difficult to draw on creativity when writing, i can pass on tips and tricks i used in exams when i was unsure what to write about and how to draw basic ideas from a stimulus and turn them into engaging and thought out points. Additionally i will pass on resources i have made myself that helped me earn such high marks and teach students how to approach tricky texts such as Shakespeare.
