His understanding of theory and how it applies to performance and composition is top class. He truly understands how to use all this prowess to help each student reach their desired goals through his tailored approach. His teaching style is also very polished having honed it over years of teaching a broad variety of musicians. I've been taking lessons for more than a year from Nilesh. The entire journey of my learning from Nilesh has been extremely enticing as his approach towards music inspires me a lot. He instilled the love of guitar in me, suggesting songs from varied genres by bands around the World and focusing on how each guitarist adapted to their own style. He always pushed me to go beyond my comfort zone and practice as much as I can in my daily routine. Also, he takes special care and looks at the minute mistakes that a beginner makes, and goes on to explain the theory behind every note we hit on the instrument.

Nilesh is not only an amazing musician but also an outstanding teacher. He is well versed in all forms of music. His way to teaching musical concepts in form of etudes makes it simple for a student of any level to grasp the underlying concept. He is extremely approachable and all my doubts regarding technique, theory, gear has been explained very satisfactorily. I am highly recommending any student of guitar and music to learn from him to take their playing and musicianship to the next level.

Only one thing makes him different from other teacher and that is he understands the nerve and potential of his student. His knowledge in guitar is of different level altogether. He is the perfect teacher for my 8 years old son.

The most interesting thing about him is that he is both great at playing as well as theory. A bit better at theory and that is why i like him so much. Easily approachable and fun to talk to, being a theory nerd myself while having 8+ years in playing piano, i love talking to him about interesting intervals and breaking down complex chords.
