About Modita
I am a Software Engineer at Google with prior experience at LinkedIn, Nutanix and Cisco, and I hold a Master’s degree in Software Systems from BITS Pilani.
Over the years, I have worked on large-scale software systems and gained strong experience in problem solving, algorithms, data structures and practical software engineering. I enjoy simplifying technical concepts and helping learners develop confidence in approaching problems independently.
I understand that DSA and coding interviews can often feel intimidating, especially when students are unsure how to think through a problem. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where questions are encouraged and concepts are explained patiently, step by step.
I take my teaching seriously and aim to keep every session structured, practical and tailored to the learner’s goals. Whether you are a college student starting DSA, a graduate preparing for placements, or a working professional preparing for software engineering interviews, I will adapt the sessions to your current level and learning pace.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong problem-solving skills rather than simply memorizing solutions.
I teach Python, Data Structures and Algorithms in a structured and practical way, starting from the student’s current level and gradually moving towards more complex problems. I focus on helping students understand how to approach a problem, identify the right data structure or algorithm, analyze time and space complexity, and write clean solutions independently.
A typical class includes a short explanation of the concept, a few examples, guided problem solving, and then problems for the student to attempt independently. I also discuss common mistakes, alternative approaches and how similar problems may appear in coding interviews.
Having worked as a Software Engineer at Google, LinkedIn, Nutanix and Cisco, I bring an industry perspective to the sessions and connect theoretical concepts with the kind of problem-solving expected in software engineering interviews.
The classes are suitable for college students, recent graduates and working professionals who want to improve their Python and DSA fundamentals, prepare for coding interviews, or become more confident with algorithmic problem solving.
