About Homi
I am a software programmer and Certified Microsoft Solution Developer from Sweden. Beside software programming, Math and Art have been my main passions and I have been lucky to have the opportunity to work with both of them. I was working at Bodwell International High School, in North Vancouver, as a Math Tutor and helped students from grade 8 to grade 11. At Bodwell I had students from all around the world. Over the years of teaching I realized that students need encouragement and motivation for learning difficult subjects like math, and foundation is very important too. As an example, it would be extremely hard for a student to learn calculus, if his knowledge in algebra is not enough. Because of those reasons I use to do lots and lots of examples at every session. I don't ask students to do. I just ask them to watch me and pay attention while I do lots of examples, because after awhile of watching, they will be encouraged to do examples by themselves. That is my teaching method.
