About Anna
My name is Anna and I am a student not only looking to share the beauty of my native language but also to do my part to reduce the exam stress of students by increasing their confidence.
Studying in the UK doesn't give me a lot of time to practice my own native language and dig deeper in to its literature, so if anything it will be my pleasure to tutor students for their foreign language exams.
I was a teaching assistant at The German Saturday School in Islington, London, for 2 years where I gained the experience and confidence to teaching young children to adults

For some, memorisation off of worksheets works wonders, but personally I've found that vocabulary sets and and grammatical structures embed themselves more naturally in our memories when linked to stories. And what is German culture and history, or our own, but a series of stories that we can share?
I am here to make language learning more engaging, the language learnt more authentic and most of all for accountability, because ultimately the most important work is done in short daily exercises that slowly but surely build up your ability.
