About Alka
For me, teaching is not just a job — it’s a way to open young minds to the world around them. I want to spread knowledge to my future students because I believe understanding our planet helps us make better choices for tomorrow.
When students learn how monsoons affect farmers, why cities grow the way they do, or how climate connects to daily life, they start seeing themselves as part of a bigger story. My goal is to replace rote learning with curiosity. I use stories, maps, satellite images, and real-life examples from places like our own Meerut to show that geography is happening right outside the classroom.
I want to spread knowledge because an informed student becomes a responsible citizen. If I can help you ask better questions, think spatially, and care about people and environments, then I’ve done my job.
