About Long

Hello! My name is Long Do, I achieved an A* (93%) in A Level Maths and another A* (92%) in A Level Further Maths, through my joy of studying the subject but also teaching it to my friends and previous tutees and now currently a 1st Year studying Computer Science at the University of Warwick

I wasn't the naturally gifted kid. I was near the bottom of my class, getting low grades and wondering if maths just wasn’t for me. Instead of giving up, I started experimenting: testing different revision methods, ditching what didn’t work, and hunting down the best resources. Piece by piece, I built a study system that actually works, and it took me to 90%+ in both A-Level Maths and Further Maths. Through constant lessons with my students, I will help them find their system. I know what it feels like to be stuck, so I’ll never make you feel behind. Let’s find what works for you!

About the class

I can teach AQA/Edexcel GCSE Maths, AQA/Edexcel A Level Maths and Edexcel A Level Further Maths. Most students don’t lose marks because they’re not smart, they lose them because nobody showed them what the examiner is looking for.

In my lessons, I use my iPad and annotate live on OneNote for maximum clarity, so every step is easy to follow. Furthermore, topics will be introduced with tailored exercise questions to master fundamentals, then drill exam-style questions with assistance until the mark scheme is second nature.
