About Arnav
I am a Year 13 Student who studies at Tiffin School in South-West London, a top grammar school in the country, currently sitting at a A*A*B prediction holding offers from 4 Russell Group Universities.
Through both my own studies and experience supporting students in a range of different environments in school and out, I have built a strong understanding of subject content alongside the specific skills and techniques exam boards reward.
Having gone from a student who initially struggled with concentration, revision, and fully understanding how to approach exams, to someone who now learns confidently and consistently performs well academically, I understand firsthand the difference that the right guidance and teaching style can make. That experience is a large part of why I enjoy tutoring as I want to help other students develop the same confidence, understanding, and effective approach to learning that helped me improve so significantly.

I plan to tutor students through 1-to-1, structured and exam-focused lessons tailored to the individual learner for both Edexcel GCSE Mathematics Higher and Foundation. Having completed these exams myself and achieved a top grade, I have a strong understanding not only of the mathematical content, but also of the exam techniques, question styles, and common mistakes that often prevent students from reaching their full potential.
Rather than rushing through topics, I focus on building a secure understanding of the fundamentals before developing confidence with more challenging exam-style questions. I adapt my pace and explanations to suit each student individually, ensuring concepts are fully understood and methods can be applied accurately under exam conditions.
I place a strong emphasis on:

Arnav helped me massively throughout my GCSEs, especially in Maths and Design & Technology, where his teaching led to huge improvements in both subjects. I had always struggled with some of the more difficult concepts in Maths and with aspects of my DT coursework, but the way he explained things was incredibly clear and easy to understand.
Thanks to his support and guidance, I went on to achieve Grade 9s in both subjects, including full marks in all three Maths papers and full marks in my DT coursework. What really stood out was how he adapted his teaching to explain things in ways that standard classroom teaching often couldn’t.
